Tax Trainee

Femi joined Merry Mullen in 2024 as Tax Trainee.

Femi assists the Tax Team in all areas of compliance to include the preparation of corporate and income tax returns. He holds a master’s degree in finance from Technological University Dublin, where he developed a strong analytical reporting skill set. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. Since joining the Tax team, Femi has gained hands-on experience in tax compliance, learning to prepare income tax returns, VAT returns, corporation tax and capital gains tax calculations for various clients.

Prior to this, Femi worked at Dunnes Stores and Amazon in fast-paced environments, where he developed strong customer service skills, time management, problem solving, and teamwork skills.

In his spare time, he enjoys go-karting and is an avid Formula One fan.
