Declan has played a pivotal role in the shaping of Merry Mullen over the past 20 years. Having held various positions since 1999, he became Managing Partner in 2007.

Declan is very proud of where we are today, the family history of the firm through three generations, but more importantly, he’s very proud of the relationships we have with our clients, providing them with a best-in-class client service.

Declan has over 30 years experience, having worked previously with Deloitte, and has a real passion for advising and assisting clients and companies achieve their goals. A fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a Chartered Tax Advisor, he has a wealth of experience in assisting clients through tax planning, acquisitions, mergers, sales and general day to day sound advice.

Declan likes to cook, ski and practice yoga to help him unwind when family and work allow. He is also a big Leinster Rugby supporter.
